02/17/2011 - Day 39
Rods: Large x 4 (2 per side)
Spring: 1500g - 1200g
Time: 8h
Position: 100% Down
Supplements: MultiVitamins + TSPR
I had 2 great 4 hour sessions where I measured and made more gains. I'm now stretching at 8 & 1/8" after 1.5 months of
SG use. I tried doing the locked stretches (where you use the thumbscrews to extend past the spring into a locked position). This helped give a hard stretch for several hours where I did have to re-adjust when the glands got desensitized.
At the end of 3 hours, I decided to stretch with the spring tension instead of locked at 1400gs. After another 30 minutes, the stretch was at the same length as the locked stretches (where the thumbscrews are maxed out) WITH some extra spring tension and this is when I decided to measure since I definitely made some gains.
I have started wrapping a thin strip of cotton around the memory foam to help with comfort. It's good but not great. It does help when I take the velcro off and seems to give a slightly more secure fit. It holds my glands in place even better than with just the memory foam and I'm able to get a better stretch because of it.
I've also been eating partial TSPR while using the
SG (Goji and Cacao Nibs) to help promote blood flow and circulation while using the
SG. I haven't had this good of a stretch since first getting the
SG. The stretch feels different now. It's no longer just a dull stretch, but a lot more direct in that the sensation is stronger and slightly more painful. Not so much that it's hurting me, but it's not like before where it was a good dull stretch. The stretch is less intense at the end of the 4 hours.
To be fair, I'm pushing really hard to get to the next set of extension rods (1/4"). I can use them now but barely (which is strange because the thumbscrews take me further than +1/4"). It's more to do with the initial strap on.
I put on the
SG pieced together. I grab behind the glands and pull to the end piece where I velcro myself in. A bit tricky, but it works for me.
