It is something I will discuss in our next meeting. I checked for affiliate discounts but they are only giving 8%! That is not even enough to give you guys a discount! Usually, when I make a deal with a affiliate I will forfeit a large part of my commission to make the price as low as possible but 8%? That is a joke. They really have no competition and the device, from what i see, could be made for less than $100, probably closer to $50 (my cost) after all the set up. Set up is where it gets expensive, mainly for plastic molds and tooling, but in this case we may be able to find those parts off the shelf. I would need to investigate further but I think it could be doable.

It's badass that you're looking to accept/create more challenges for us members to benefit from even when you have a pretty busy time already revamping the site and everything, you're the man, DLD.

Well, there are other brands, but frankly I was inclined to go with the industry leader being that it has the capability of burning a hole in things.

My amazon Tria order wound up getting canceled because they ran out of stock and/or had a shipment of damaged goods. I'll have to reorder but I think I will do a little more research into competing products or maybe try to get one locally. I'm concerned that there may be reliability issues with these things and I'd rather pay a little more to be able to swap it out at a store.

The other one I was looking at was the Philips Lumea but damn that one is expensive at around $579.

That's some serious fucking cash, bro.

Well so far there is the Tria laser @ $350, and then there are some IPL models such as the Philips Lumea @ $579 (hard to find in USA). There are also a number of cheaper IPL such as the Remington IPL6000 @ $250. But I am concerned about power level (lack of) and the need to purchase additional cartridges.

I am kinda leaning towards the Remington because it is a plug in versus battery based, and you can replace the 1500 flash cartridges for about $25. I worry about battery based stuff because it just wouldn't survive as an appliance. The downside is that I hear that it really doesn't last 1500 flashes and it takes more application than the stronger Tria would.

I bet you'd end up wasting more money owning the tria, I'd rather try the Remington if I were to purchase such a device just because I'd rather waste more time and less money.

I think that the power level of the Tria is like BAM and it really kills the follicle. The current crop of IPL models is likely not enough energy to permanently kill the follicles, but they do claim to "stun" them for maybe 6 months at a time. Perhaps that is the better way, at least I would be happy with not having to shave the area daily.

I do see that the Remington is available in some dept stores so my plan is to pick one up at Walmart or Target.

Well eventually the hair follicle should die after a while don't you think?

I'm thinking no, but it may be of little consequence whether it dies or stops growing for six months at a time.

I really don't mind shaving, it becomes as easy as the face once you get it down.

Well, after my Tria order got canceled (some problem with damaged goods from the supplier) all of the cheap places pretty much dried up. So that's back up to $400. I checked for other devices, and nothing is sold in any local stores so I placed another order. I decided to go with a Silk'n Flash & Go for $300. It's an IPL and also not as powerful as a Tria would be (Tria is considerably stronger that most every other home system), but I like the lack of battery and also that it has replaceable bulbs.

Got my device in the mail today. A Silk'n Flash & Go.

Penis EnlargementW! Penis EnlargementW! Penis EnlargementW!

Did some test areas before I hit the sack.

toucHydromaxyjunk, I hope you'll share with us your findings. It's looking really interesting. At this point I'm sticking to shaving, but it would be interesting especially for a bit of my facial hair that I would like to get rid of permanently.

Well, I shaved and did about 10 flashes around the base and under the sack. At max strength it's a bit of a poke, like doorknob static pop. It's enough energy to singe hairs at that level, because the test spots on my leg I didn't bother shaving first and they smoked up a bit.

Instructions are to treat at two week intervals for a few times, then four weeks, then as needed.

I'm going to wait a little while to check for reactions, then I will probably hit some areas along the shaft and then call it quits for a couple of weeks.

How's your skin doing so far?

Nothing bad to speak of. Yesterday after I posted I did the shaft, probably six flashes. Most flashes are just a small thump and some warmth, though a couple gave a bit of a jolt. Be strong man, be strong LOL. These were all at max strength (5).

So I'm just leaving it until a couple of weeks and then I will flash them again. Hard to tell if growth is stunned or whatnot at this point. It's only been 24hrs. I have a little bit of stubble right now but I didn't shave really close yesterday so it could just be that. Obviously over the next few days I will be able to take a better inventory.

So the hair never fell out after you zapped 'em?
No. Perhaps in the future, but no nothing fell out. Looks/feels the same.

It's only be 24hr but I'm not feeling any stubble in many areas. Not sure if I will wait a full two weeks. I think if I start to notice some growth in a few days I will shave again and flash. I didn't really hit all areas. I will have to check what is safe.
