I think this is the best method, that is: To have a long time between messurement points. It keeps you disciplined and away from depression.
You trust the process more, when you do not messure all the time. I have not messure gains jet at BPEL. But I see there is a difference.
Let that difference that you are seeing serve as motivation to keep you going until You complete 6 months. If you feel the routine is not intense enough, change it every 3 months.
