I've recently suffered a fairly bad elbow injury in judo that has left my right arm with severe tendonitis so I have very weak grip strength and pain so I've had to stretch with my left had which is not as effective. The way I see it if we can't train to our full potential it's still better than nothing at all.

Let your body rest and heal itself. As flu can affect the mental state as well, exercises might not feel so great. While ill, you can still train your mind, read up on exercises and gain knowledge.

I would definitely slow it down, depending on the cold.
