I'm pretty sure they are declaring the actual value. I bought mine few years ago and customs charged me over 50 USD as it is revealed on the receipt outside the package.
I'm not sure if can I request to underdeclare the value.
Something we should research more. There is so my unfairness in trade between the US and other countries, it is ridiculous. Companies can send stuff into the USA all day, everyday with no customs or tariffs but when we try to send to another country they do not play by the same rules. Makes me sick! Anyway, no matter what, we will get the products to you, we only need to find a way to get through customs with no issues. Usually if sent as gift there is no customs, but you are saying this does not apply to your country so we need to find another way to send. Perhaps we can send to you, after you purchase, and we will send it with a value of $10, would that work?
