Now, this is where the wrapping is critical. Just like any traction base system, you need to wrap with utmost care or it will slip. It's quite so for those who are not cut. Two critical points you have to make notes on:
- When wrapping, you cannot allow the penis to engorge. If you have to ejaculate, do so. Your penis must be fully flaccid when being wrapped. Most stared wrapping with some engorgemet, strapped on, and the penis starts to slide into the wrap. Fully deflated penis and moderately tightly wrapped penis (without cutting off your blood circulation) will make your penis looks like a mummy, with good pull traction. Test it out before tighten the plates down.
- @bigjohnpenis It's great that you described the manual pulling of your hands. You hands naturally have the tactile ridges that grip onto your skin with great friction. But think carefully where the grips are being made along the penis. This brings us to the second point. The strapping point can be anywhere with the proper wrapping, but, the most effect location is just below the base of the glans. If you wrap it correctly, all the traction force refocus at the glans based on the shifting of the skin. To minimize any shifting of any kind during strong traction force, we place the gripping plates at the base of the glans. Once again, good wrapping will minimize the shifting due to the skin, no matter where the plates are used at.
It will take a bit of practice just like any traction system. Brother SIM created a wrapping technique as well that works for an uncut person that covers very well for a cut person:
Go down a bit and you'll see his two videos for wrapping. My technique is similar to his for an uncut person, but the method is more focused at the base of the glans, doubling to tripling the TheraBand folds to comfort and powerful gripping.
We also mod our LM with addition gripping and comfort approaches with tapes. This allows us to provide additional gripping surfaces while preventing any unwanted pinches.

I used to have a wooden model too during the Alpha Blade project. I tried to make my own, but also got one made by the project to fund the continuation of the project. The difference is the ergonomic design and the adaptive plate setup for the newer one. The old one is focused using the ring and side grip system. The newer one is slightly longer, with the same circular Power Assist stretch design, but the bonus is the plates use to further push the tension force to the max the stretches with better leverage.
