I have been having some trouble with the lengthmaster lately. First of all, I find it difficult to get a good comfortable session in. It seems to only happen about half the time. And I have to use a good amount of wrap and sleeve just so it doesn't feel like my dick's in a bear trap. That gets kind of expensive after a while.

But recently my hanging chamber clamps broke and Lightning and Dld were very cool about sending me a replacement set but it seems like something's off with them. They keep getting stuck! I don't know if the holes were drilled at a weird angle or maybe I'm using too much wrap but I always used this same amount of wrap with my first chamber and they never had this issue. But for whatever reason the clamps keep getting stuck. The wingnuts and power assist come off fine but the clamps won't budge until I finally yank them apart after trying for a few minutes. I have injured the web of my hand twice now by getting it pinched in the hole with the bolt while trying to pry the clamps apart.

Tonight though I literally had to saw my way out of the lengthmaster. I tried and tried to pry the clamps apart but they wouldn't budge so I sawed one of the bolts in half and was able to get out. I'm gonna try the longest set of bolts tomorrow and see if that helps. I really hope it does.

I don't mean to sound like I'm trashing it. Maybe it's all user error or I'm just having bad luck or something. The lengthmaster can be a great tool. I've used it on and off for 2 years and lately almost every day. I'm up to 18 lbs. for 30-45 minutes plus another 10 or so of manually stretching with it afterwards. I know it's the ultimate tool for gaining length but it's such a pain in the ass to achieve a comfortable session for me. It would be really cool to see some improvements in the not too distant future. I don't know what those improvements should be exactly. I don't have a mind for engineering. But I know there has to be a better way to gain length comfortably with a device.

The smaller bolts may be your problem in both the "bear trap" feeling and in the screws become jammed. Having longer screws allow for better padding and they do not get stuck when they are not stressed to be too short, meaning a short screw will become jammed much easier than a longer one. I suggest using a lighter wrap and longer bolts and I bet this issue is put to bed.

I've never experienced anything like this before. DLD will be in the best position to explain this

Like I said though, I used this same amount of wrap and the same medium bolts for 2 years until my first chamber broke a few weeks ago. But I will try the longer ones later and see what that does. Thanks.

you can also go to the hardware store and for less than $1.00usd grab 4 sleeves (or bolt hole liners) . They're usually stainless steel and come in a multitude of sizes. I'm guessing the 3/8" would be the correct size, but I'm only guessing...maybe grab 1/4, 3/8 and 1/2 just to be safe.
Good luck

dude 18 pounds for 45 minutes is pretty nuts, no wonder its "uncomfortable" lol.
also getting stuck in the lenghmaster happens sometimes and i would approach it just like getting stuck in a pump, go slow! getting frustrated/scared and trying to rip the damn thing off is most likely just going to make it even harder. go slow if you get stuck.

The LengthMaster Clamp holes aren't drilled at a weird angle. What it is, the bolt-holes aren't centered on the clamp itself. When you place the force tightening down the wing-nuts, it creates a V-Shape. One side will have a wider gap than the opposite side (bolt side). Which will cause binding on the threaded bolt, in turn will not release when you loosen the wingnuts. The LengthMaster's design incorporating the Power-Assist, it doesn't allow to have the clamp holes centered.

I don't think a lot of padding with the LengthMaster is all that great, which is weird because I would regularly advise to use a lot of padding for something like the Snake Hanger. But this also depends on your girth, I know BSA barely uses any padding. If you don't feel comfortable enough to get a good stretch in you are definitely wrapping the wrong way, try to use less and get a snug fit. You don't really need to clamp down too hard to get a good grip with the LengthMaster either. As far as the screws go, I used the longest one from the start I just found it way easier to get in and out of the lengthmaster with those. The chamber does seem to clamp forward at and angle due to the location of the holes and this may cause the chamber to become stuck, when this happens press down on the side of the chamber opposite to the screws and it will release.

Really? You think that's too much weight for too long? Because I always thought 30-45 was a good timeframe for hanging. I've even been thinking about adding an extra session per day. I believe I read somewhere that Dld would hang up to 4 hours a day. And he maxed out the weight at 70 lbs. Now that's nuts!

I also read that stillwantmore2 maxed out at 37 lbs. Not sure how long he would hang though. Maybe he could chime in because I would love to know.

And as far as being calm while trying to take it off- that's not so easy when your dick is in a vice and you're coming up on 60 minutes of being clamped in! Lol.

Yeah 18 lbs for 30-45 mins is really hardcore man. I mean I use to hang 16 lbs for 20 and it was intense, so I guess I am just wondering what your definition of comfort is. Because to hang 18 lbs for 30-45 mins you must find the Lengthmaster pretty damn comfortable. Remember bro, you are hanging weights on your cock... its not gonna feel good. Its going to feel highly uncomfortable at times especially if you are hanging that much weight for that much time (I can only imagine). However you should never feel pain, if you do stop immediately and lower the weight and/or the time.

So though this might not be the answer you came in looking for. My suggestion would be break that down to two sets of 20 mins .

I once had to force my way out of the LM within a few seconds - I had a discoloration for many days

better to take it slow even if you ahve to get in a cold shower just take your time, same for a pump or cock ring. panicking will not help

This is the method I use to get the bolts to release, too. I don't use any wrap or padding, I just clamp-down using the pre-installed rubber gaskets for cushion...works like a champ!

The LengthMaster should never be used without wrap, the padding is there to cushion the wrap, not to substitute it. If someone is using the LM without wrap and there is pain, well wrap it up, even if the wrap is minimal.

Used the long bolts tonight and it worked beautifully. The clamps came apart even as I was unscrewing the wingnuts. Comfort level was about the same though. But I did hang 18 lbs. for 40 minutes so I guess it wasn't too bad. Just wish there was some awesome advanced wrap/sleeve that feels like a gel cushion around the penis even at higher weights. The fabric of the prewrap just doesn't do it for me. Really bites into the skin.

JB what is your wrap currently?
I use a layer of ace sports prewrap, then Johnson & Johnson hurt-free wrap (white crepe paper-like stuff), a 3-inch section of silicone sleeve, then a whole roll of ace bandage (the yellow sticky fabric).

I am so happy the advice helped. We are in the process of making our own sleeves so soon they will be available.

Still always has the best wrapping style, I have used his for years.
