Jelqing is more of a girth exercise, but can help out with length if combined with manual stretches. If you are just starting jelqing DO NOT grip too hard when first starting... when i started jelqing i would grip way too hard and i ended up giving myself a thrombosis vein, ease into it. Start off slowly and make your way to a more intensive workout over time

Now, this is the comment that I have never seen before. It makes lots of sense.
