Exactly true. When stretching the penis, especially downward you are not only gaining length but you are adding to girth, especially base girth. With girth work you are definitely making length gains. It is impossible for the penis to expand outward without expanding upward. So even when someone does length or girth exclusively they will most likely make gains where they thought they wound not. I am not saying that training girth is the best way to gain length of vice versa, the best way to gain length is by doing length work, the best way to gain girth is through girth work, but both will benefit from one another.
