Don't know if you did understnad the question properly. But lets say there is 4inches penis inside to support and hold up the outer penis so the erection can point upwards. If you pull out 3inches the support will not be as strong anymore, and your penis will not point as much upward as before. Get me?
About gripping behind balls, yes there is a reason for this. You can grip the internal penis easier by doing this. It's like expressive stretching but even better, you actually pull even more close to your internal penis which promotes even better internal gain.
