When I pump I keep all air out of the pump. It may take a little practice but it is possible to have no air bubbles inside the tube.
I'm not sure this is entirely accurate. When I am in the pump and fully pumped, as far as I dare go or can stand, there is still an inch or two of air space between the glans and the end of the tube. In order to remove all air above my glans, something would have to replace it, right? And I suspect that would have to be my penis, which would likely explode LOL! There were several experiments where I had to play around with the amount of water to use, and sometimes I used too much and I pumped out water with the VV. But the expansion and extension on my penis was no different. And even though the VV is a great "pump" so to speak, it is nothing compared to the Kaplan electric I had many years ago, which could blow your dick right up, water, or air. No difference (except drawing water into an electric pump could prove fatal!). In any event, I keep my dick fully submerged with water, and the pump is as high as I can stand, or dare to go. It takes a day or two just for the fluid retention to recede. I even notice the VV valve is collapsing, pointing to a limit to how much it can pump, so I don't think it could pump much more. And, like I said, no mess, no fuss, and no hanging around the bathtubjorgsmashh;747767 said:If you have a certain volume of air in the chamber so that you pump up to max pressure but still no water comes out, if I'm correct, you are cutting yourself short on pressure. The whole idea of the water is that it is a better medium to create the vaccum. So, like I said if I'm correct, if you were to replace that air space with water, you would be increasing pressure because the air is limiting that amount of pressure you can achieve. I have noticed myself if the BM is completely full, the pump feels better and more pressure than if there is air in the pump. Hell, if I have a bad seal and even just a few tiny bubbles seep in, I notice and feel a drop in pressure. But who am I to teach you have gained over an inch in girth lol.
This may be true, but I'm not sure it's relevant. See my post above.Lookn4girth;747772 said:When I pump I keep all air out of the pump. It may take a little practice but it is possible to have no air bubbles inside the tube.

I'm wondering how to use it without applying any downward pressure on the valve and releasing pressure. I get the idea of it but it seems to me in order to use it you would need to press it down on the tip of the BM and it is very easy to accidentally let out some pressure.

Fillerup;747782 said:No, you have not been using it "incorrectly." I'm just suggesting that, IMHO, it doesn't make much difference, provided your penis is completely submerged in water. If there is a difference, I haven't noticed it. And the convenience of being able to sit back in my living room and use the pump instead of being confined to the bathtub makes it, well, worth it. To me. But again, I am not convinced that pumping, at least by itself, is an effective method of permanent girth increase. That is why the majority of my girth work is manual, and I will generally uses the hydromax for 1 or 2 5-minute sessions. Sometimes I even think of the bathmate as a 5-minute warm-down after my main girths session because of the warm water.

Here's my 'how-to':
Completely fill the cylinder with warm water
Enter the cylinder with the highest EQ possible (which will displace a significant amount of water)
Press lightly against pelvis and find that 'comfortable' spot where you're centered in the cylinder and feel an even seal on your body
Take the VV pump and slowly draw water out of the cylinder (It takes 2-3 pumps to create a strong enough seal for me to opt for 'hands-free')
At this point I'll do my normal shower duties and let The BM 'hang' for 8-10 minutes
Remove and squeeze/jelq/massage for 2-3 minutes
Fill and attach as before, but this set will be at 100% for 8-10 mins. (there will be a bit of air trapped at the tip due to standing and the angle being about 45*)
Remove and squeeze
Third set is the same as the second.
TaDa!

Well, I guess I'd rather sit in front of my comp, read posts from other MOS members, maybe check my email etc, rather than sit and stare at bathroom fixtures and watch the clock. But you're right, you do have to go back to the bathroom to withdraw and drain the BM. But, that's about 20 feet away for me, and I usually want to dry off a bit before proceeding to further manual work.jorgsmashh;747853 said:So if you sit on the couch and pump so that you don't have to hang out by the bathroom, but you only pump for 5 minutes, don't you have to then just get back up and go to the sink or bathroom to remove the pump? And then you take your break and do some manual work and then go back into the pump and sit on the couch but just for another 5 minutes? Seems like to me the process of needing to remove the pump every 5 minutes makes using it anywhere but the bathroom inconvenient.
