Heat, before and after. Don't skip this. Heat pad, rice sock whatever you got. Cold dick plus crazy pressure equals big donut. Lots of heat. 10-20 min after is a great post workout routine. It will bring healing factors and proteins that are less present in the fluid that is already there.
Massage. Post workout and more importantly post ejaculation, your dick is super sensitive and in a pretty beat up state. Let's face it, the BM is a pretty traumatic place for the penis. So, after you have your penis nice and hot, grab the lotion and get to work giving yourself at least 5 min of deep tissue massage, paying close attention to trouble spots ie the donut. One can actually work much of the fluid out of the penis and back in to the lymph system with these two techniques.
If post workout ejaculation is not part of your routine you are at an even better position to give yourself an erect massage, which can be very helpful since you can push the superficial fluid against the erectile tissue in it's fully expanded state.
