This maybe be a bit of an odd question, but why does edging work?

Is there a reason why continually doing it makes you last longer over time?
 
Yes. Edging helps you control your orgasm more, thus longer sex.
 
To me Edging/Ballooning can help but you can get all those effects & more from another exercise.

I know this exercise is labeled DANGEROUS by most but I have picked them up recently. After realizing I just can not jelq the normal way, I started doing jelqs erect.

The insane surge of blood flow is unreal,EQ get better quickly & Orgasm intensity and ejaculation volume go way up. My flaccid hang has improved & I always wanted to find a way to solve that without doing length work.

I will say, I don't grip tight & I do my reps very fast. This prevents injury & going fast keeps the penis engorged.

The body has a remarkable ability to adapt and adjust. It works because you're basically training your body to handle more pleasure without climaxing. Doing it over an extended period of time, the body adapts and your brain sends the signal that your body can handle the pleasure for a longer period of time. Hence, you last longer. That's an overly basic take on it.
 
Ah right. That's cool.

It was just because i was having sex with my girl last night and she was bouncing around on top and i felt like i was gonna cum so i stamped on my PC muscle which helped but because she was still bouncing around, it didn't do much so i had to tell her to stop moving.

When i edge i slow down/stop when i hit the PONR when i put my PC breaks on, i guess if she's on top you have to tell her to stop.
 
Either that or a lot of guys make it less noticeable by switching positions when they're about to reach the PONR and that buys them some time to calm down.
 
Edging, for a while, had the opposite effect on me. I started to become TOO sensitive. But I attribute some of it to also slowing way down on �naked people movies� and masturbation as well when I started Penis Enlargement. I was numb from overstimulation.
 
I know I haven't done a great edging routine for I don't know how long, but it's amazing. I still keep the orgasim from failing even when I'm not doing it.
 
Edging is a about much more than just erection strength and staying power. Edging, when done correctly, will stretch the very dense tunica. Ballooning, similarly serves the same function. For the exercise(s) to be effective on a tunica stretching level one needs to hold the erection for some time. This is vital to tunica stretching in a similar way the SizeGenetics works. They are very similar in the way a low tension stretch, for long periods, allow for the cementing process to happen much quicker. Gaining temporary girth is very easy, some guys using the Bathmate see an inch of temporary gains after their session, I see a half inch after a good Slow Squash Jelq session, I am sure you have seen other ways yourself at how easy gaining temporary girth is. Making it stick is the main objective. Cementing, as it's called, girth can be understood through how someone with priapism can end up with megaphalus. If an erection is held, at maximum hardness, for an extended time the penis will become larger. So, if you gain a half inch in girth after a good session, proceeding with long periods of edging would mimic the lengthly erections of priapism and this is just what the tunica needs, long, low tension expansion. When we start to add squeezing into the mix we start looking like a normal Penis Enlargement exercise, the difference, of course, would be the length of time you hold a full erection for. Some black men suffer from a condition called Sickle Cell Anemia, along with a host of other symptoms, priapism is one. Due to this many black men have larger penis's then they would have if they did not have the condition. Some become what is called megaphallus, where the penis is grossly disfigured while others may only notice a slight enlargement. The point is, men who have chronic priapism largely have larger than usual penis's. I strongly believe that __________ has this disorder. (see picture)

Edging serves so many purposes and it is smart to get creative with it and plan to invest some time. I have a great routine that I was doing a couple years ago and they are definetly worth checking out: DLD's Strapped Method This is my favorite way to to these exercises.
