There's another element about your brain seeing things ... or how you
have it see them, and that's a
positive attitude (activating your subconscious, and its control of your your neuro-endrocrine system, and your body's Trillions of cells, to work WITH you). There's the old saying: "whether you think you can, or think you can't, you're right." Health and recovery/remodeling of the body and its systems are very much effected that way .. by your attitude.
The exercises and devices work. PE works. Just put in the time and you'll get results. If you want to go faster, then use more time, or more intensity, or better nutrition.
But being negative, or "I dunno..." about it is only going to hold you back. Schwarzenegger did this with his muscles ... he'd visualize them filling up the entire room. Some recent studies have shown that people can indeed -think- their muscles bigger, comparable for a while to other people who were actually working out. Make sure you're using that visualization power positively For you instead of negatively Against you.
Also,
extenders will always work faster if they're being used as tractive-healing after having done
other exercises to 'break-down' the tissues first .. (rather than trying to use the
extender itself as the primary form of exercise).
