Okay, what I'm reading is you maxed out the pressure. Based on the baffles pumping only, max pressure is around 5inHg. I see it goes up to 7inHg after 20 to 25 pumps, but that baffles gaitor (the plastic part) is fully compressed. That's perfectly fine. We shouldn't be up in the 7inHg and 10inHg anyway with the BathMate, unless we're intermediate-advanced level in the pumping.
So, I'm looking from all perspectives of the water pumping, and at the same time, I'm paying attention to your skin. I'm also integrating my own personal experience into the mix as well. When I first used the Bathmate, I used the comfort insert and without. I also use the foam added comfort piece on top of the comfort insert, and without. The comfort insert limits the amount of skin being pulled into the cylinder. When your skin is pulled in, under 6inHg and with water, your skin becomes "ballooned". In other words, you create a thinning skin because your kinked skin starts to build up fluid. This happens quite alot for those who use the BIG version of the Bathmate, and the opening is way too large, while your penis only occupies half to less than half of the diameter of the cylinder. The comfort insert limits this issue. If you don't have the comfort insert, you can either get one, OR, you can use a universal silicone donut designed for the Bathmate, or anything that can accomodate 2.65in to 3in worth of diameter. I have 3 donuts on stand by at all time for all my pumps. By the way, I switched from Bathmate to the MityVac cylinder is due to this same crazy reason. It's not just you.
Now, what you may not also know is the materials used by the Bathmate for the baffles gaiter, the plastic portion. It's a mix of TPU and soft plastic. Some model actually used reinforced silicone. The skin may react differently due to the plastic materials. Some react violently against latex, while some react lightly to TPU and silicone. Make sure to test out.
The edge of the baffles gaitor also play a nasty role. The old models have a smaller edge than the newer HydroXtreme model. I compared the Max vs XTreme and there's a 4mm thickness difference. Thinner edge cuts your skin more than the thicker edge under pressure. When water is introduced, especially the warm water, within 5 to 7 minutes, your skin becomes relaxed and easier influenced to be cut under high pressure. This is why I use the donuts for all my cylinders, comfort insert for the Bathmate, and even the donut when I'm not using the comfort insert.
Let's move forward even more. When you switch from pumping to SSJ, the water stripped away the natural oil on the skin. The momen you use the wet hand (water contains minerals that acts as abrassives) on soft subtle wet skin, you're introducing wet friction. Funny isn't it? wet pussy with wet penis = slippery fun. Tap water + tap water = not a fun thing. This is why you don't have sex in water. Not good. Tons of friction. Why? Loss of natural oil lubrication and introduction of mineralize abrassives. Ouchies. My wife and I did fun deeds in the outdoor waters as well as spas and pools. Yeah..not fun after 20 minutes. When your hands twist, pull, pump, and moves on your oil-less skin, friction built up over time at the contact points. This is friction burn. It makes your skin even more irritated. Your body naturally send fluid to the irritated areas to protect your internal tissues from invasive bacteria. Reintroduce a bit of oil, such as castor, Vit E, filtered virgin coconut oil, or any lubricant to restore a small amount of oil during SSJ. It won't help the thinning of the skin due to skin sucking up into the cylinder.
So, something to think about:
- Proper sized cylinder just to fit your penile diameter and prevent skin from sucking up into the cylinder under pressure.
- Donut to cushion your skin, and completely prevent your skin from being pulled up into the cylinder.
- Use comfort insert for the Bathmate and limit the diameter.
- Fat pad, or the thick fat layer around the penis, needs to be reduced, or use the donuts.
