Discoloration since 8 Months still not going away

Thank you. Just something slabbed together through Photography layering.

A yes and a no. A yes, in terms of possible chemical burn or spotting. Something like a chemical bleaching/peeling.

As DLD indicated, MOS Red or a light therapy (low doses of UV exposure to long period of red light therapy) to get the pigmentation to come back. I know you indicated the naked sunbathing is not an option, but there may be chances for the privacy behind closed walls with lightly closed exposed windows.

Keep the skin moist is one way. Another way is to use pigmentation type of chemical if you are in a rush. Ever heard of tan lotion? They are artificial tanning but same method of bleaching in the opposite direction. Only use a dab in a hidden area to test for sensitivity and reactivity.

Many people has reversion of pigmentation, but they may be darker in skin color or has much greater outdoor exposure than you. They may be wearing no underwears and much lighter clothing.

If you are hard to get a tan, you will have a hard time to get a nice darker skin tone or restorative pigmentation to your penile skin. If you are easily tanned, your penile skin will reach its pigmentation very quickly.
I would say my skin is more Mediterranean, not light and not too dark in the middle. When I go out in the sun I tan quickly. I don't have light skin and from the pictures I posted, you can see that the skin on my penis is darker too. So I might get dark quickly in the sun. I would just like that it get dark on its own, even if it’s more slowly then with sun exposure. The hope is that it will just go dark on its own without doing anything just from the skin melanin production.

I don't want to experiment any more. I don't think self-tanning would be the best solution either. As far as I understand, the self-tanner does not stimulate the melanin production of the skin. It darkens the skin and makes it look brown that’s true, but the actual melanin production in the skin itself, as with sun exposure, does not occur.

Maybe I should wait a bit longer. It usually takes three months for the skin to completely regenerate or maybe six weeks is just too early?

Do you know anyone personally? Who had something like that from a cortisone cream and it went away on its own? Maybe you can tell me about a personal experience, even if it wasn't you, but someone you knew.

Would Beta carotene capsules help? At least you get slightly an orange skin color. If you take them, would that have an effect? I have now taken vitamin A orally for a few days but that also has no effect on this light spot.

In areas where UV cannot be exposed directly to the skin, the melanin production tends to slow down, roughly around 5%. It's like comparing your butt cheeks to the rest of the body where the UV does get the healthy dose.

No need to experiment. Just allow nature to take its course.

Definitely. Allow time for the body to adjust naturally. The body tends to balance itself out without our intervention.

Yes. Quite a handful actually. This is why there are many who use hollistic methods over chemically refined methods. hydrocortisone can be substituted with castor oil, coconut oil, Vit D, and various other concentrated natural creams and oils combination. We are living in a natural vs manmade world, with combinations that I can't even wrap my brain around.

Yes and no. Yes, if you're trying to encourage UV exposed surface area to take advantage of the beta carotene. No, if the area is closed off to UV exposure. No, it doesn't make your eye sight better unless you have 4000% loading every day.

So do you think there is a chance that it will go back? Maybe in a couple of months? What worries me is that in these six weeks the skin has not darkened at all, so you can see at least a slow process going back as it was before. It is exactly the same as on the first day.

I didn't know that something like that could happen, to be honest, I only used it once that day. Yes, I used the cream pure, but who would have thought that it could have such a reaction after just one use. To be honest, that depresses me because I already had the problem with the darkening of my skin on the shaft and now this.

Yes, it does. Same with those who suffered from chemical bleaching, eczema, or abnormal skin condition due to melanins, it may take a bit of time, but conditions tend to reset as the body resets.

Don't see the body's adaptation timeline as short term in days or weeks. Those timelines are merely the average from worldwide statistics. Try to think outside of the timelines according to your own body, or those similar to you. There are many cases with your skin sudden changes. Some got their skin recovered in weeks. Some went to months. Some rare ones went to years. But overall, the conditions reset.

My oldest son had something similar when he was a kid around 5 years old. Some kind of chemical reaction from the lotions we used, possibly a mix of an ointment and 50SPF sunblock resulted in a white patch of skin preventing it from darken. It remained bleached for a few months. The outer edge started to darken over time, but the center remained bleached for a good year. It took us a good long while to comprehend the chemistry interaction before we could create a list of interactive chemicals for do's and don'ts. However, that doesn't apply to him any more after the age of 12.

But, my brother started to have something similar. He uses 50SPF sunblock, but at the same time, he has chemo drugs that suppresses the melanin from producing properly. He has patches of bleached skin all over this body.

Point to take home, as we aged or our body chemistry changes, the interaction of compounds, be natural or manmade, will influence our body as well. It can be internal or external. We just have to find solutions one step at a time.

I had discoloration during my active training but when I went into maintenance mode (one session a week) it completely got rid of all discoloration. It took about 4 months. I wish I had the MOS-RED | NIR INFRARED LIGHT THERAPY FOR ERECTION QUALITY during my training because I would not have had it at all.

Thank you very much for the report from your Son and your Brother. At least it gives me a little insight into what process I can expect. I think that in my case too, unfortunately, I have to be just as patient with the light spot as I was with the dark spot on the shaft. It's already annoying with the dark discoloration. I didn't need a light one as well. Now to wait for two things at once and see if it heals over time, that's just bad luck. I hope that this test of patience will finally be rewarded and I will see results.

You were really lucky that after four months everything went back to normal. The dark discoloration on my shaft happened almost a year ago and it's still there. And that even though I don't train at all.

Sorry my brother but don't let it bother you too much most people will never notice. I did a lot of deep tissue massage with heat over that time which probably helped quite a bit

Thank you brother, for the kind words. Unfortunately, I can't ignore it completely. I'll try as best I can to wait and hope that time heals everything. But the fact that new things keep coming up how like light the Spot is obviously getting me down. I'll just use Aloe Aera Gel and Coconut oil to care for my skin. And then we'll see.

I have a white spot on my penis that never went away. All dark skin returned to normal but the white spot remains

Was the light spot caused by the cortisone cream or what was the cause?

No I believe it was because i overteained. I use hydrocortisone everyday without white spots showing up.

Just like DLD stated, the white spots are from overtraining, which caused by the phenomenon called hotspotting. This is the results from over thinning the skin and resulted in dermal scaring. The best comparison is improper skin healing from a cut, but in this case, it's from improper healing from over skin stretches.

Very interesting, that means we have two cases of white spots here that have
two different reasons. In the case of DLD, it was caused by the overtraining and hospotting. And in my case by the cortisone cream that bleached the melanin out of my skin. However, I hope and pray that my chances are better with my case to heal and get rid of the white spot. As I don’t had overtraining or did a manually friction.

In the case of DLD, does this mean that this white spot has also no melanin in the skin? Or is it more a white spot like a scar?

Maybe try to get rid of that spot with tanning under the natural sun or better in a tanning room. I guess you also have this over there in the states. These shops where you can go and pay to get into these cabins and tan for about 10-20 minutes. This might to get rid of the white spot.

Tissue thinning scar. That can also be tanned/darkened through UV exposure.

Gotta test this myself and see what happens.
